Archetypes are the roles we play in our day to day life. For example, the victim, the rebel, the jester, the hero, the carer, are just a few of the manifestations of our engagement with the world and how we define ourselves within that world.
The beginning of the roles we take on can usually be traced back to our childhood. And, once we have subliminally identified ourselves into our role, there is a whole myriad of behaviours, emotions, actions and reactions that boot into play.
In this coaching session, we help you to identify what Archetype you are typecasting and what the payback is for you to fulfil this role. We also look at what roles the other people in your relationships are playing and how these archetypes may have incompatible behaviours which cause arguments or other distressing behaviours.
When you know what your archetype is, it becomes much easier to step back and look at the behaviours and emotions that are in play in your relationships, and then decide if your current role is your best option.
